This is an excellent story, with an exiting plot and hero, with action and laughs, with drama and terror.
Definitely worth the read!!!!!
Definitely not a book for me- I wouldn't have bothered to finish reading it except I always finish any book I start- I couldn't wait for it to be over and it seemed the same for the author- Example a person moved like an action figure fell into action figures etc... Lacked any imagination throughout the whole tale- As for the "Horror" parts of the story they just weren't described in horrifying sense/state, just more words- After the story the information about the author seems like there could be an interesting story in his writing at some point- Several typos/editing issues-
I kind of knew what I was getting into when I started this book...and I was wrong in the best kinds of ways. It isn't all that often that a writer can surprise me anymore, but Phronk managed it, and in amusing and even sweet ways.
Do you read underground newspapers?Maybe like your horror a little twisted?Well then you will like this book as much as I did and to my surprise in the story a small was referenced only twenty miles from my town.That's just how quirky this book is..stands traditional horror on its ears.
Stan Lightfoot , paparazzo and photo for the tabloids, is kidnapped by a vampire nursing a crush on a movie star. Stockholm syndrome sets in orcould it be something more ? Stan and his very odd and special little dog are dragged along on a wild adventure tracking down a celebrity that is more than meets the eye. A little racy, very humorous with a dash of pathos thrown in for good measure. Enjoy !
I was intrigued by the description of this book, so I gave it a shot. It sort of defies genre. It’s a vampire story, but definitely not typical of that genre. It’s, for lack of a better word – zany. I completely went along for the ride with this author. The story was unpredictable and a lot of fun. Overall, it was written very well. Kudos to the author for having such an intense imagination. This was a great change-of-pace book for me. It cleansed the palate before I picked up my next thriller.
